Somewhere to be. Well… eventually. Fact- Thousands of people visit the US Virgin Islands every year. Oils from our hands and sunscreens damage star fish. And contrary to popular belief/opinions, most can asphyxiate fairly quickly and die if taken out of the water. They are also very easily traumatized. It is important to not pick them up even if other people are not aware.
