Amazing out of the ordinary snorkels only happen in the off season. With very little boat traffic and with calm seas, new snorkel places become accessible. These are truly unique experiences not shared by many. The trade off is that its also the rainy season so it could also be the complete opposite experience, rough seas and limited destinations. Nonetheless, there are always amazing snorkel spots accessible by boat only.

There are so many fascinating details in the local scenery that some are easy to take for granted. The mushroom rocks are more distinctive during low tides and are pretty amazing to look at if you are paying close attention. Depending on the composition of the rocks, they can take thousands if not millions of years to erode. It can be mind blowing to witness how long the seas have been working at slowly sculpting the landscape and to think about how many people have passed by through the ages.
